“ You can't go wrong here! The menu is so full of delicious sounding items, it was difficult to choose. Our meals came quickly and were heavenly! And Don, our server was so friendly and personable. ”
“ This is our second time to the country cafe, and we will continue to come here as much as we can and or get a chance to, the food is great, and so are the staff, very friendly and courteous. The cooks and or chefs do a great job preparing and cooking the food, kutos to the Country Cafe located at the TREX truck stop. ”
“ The restaurant is at the side of the TREX convenience store. Entrance is from Tracy Rd. The young lady who served us was very polite & attentive. One member of our party ordered a pancake in place of toast, & we were shocked at the size of the pancake! It covered the majority of the oval plate. Proportions are generous, so go when you're really hungry! ”

The one minor challenge is as a guy that has done manual labor for 40 years the silverware is kinda thin for my old hands, but I understand why they use them, so people don't steal them . “ Truck driver. Second time here in about a month. Great restaurant. Good coffee. Clean and roomy. Tenderloin sandwich is awesome! I like Texas toast instead of burger bun. Didn’t get dessert but they have fresh pies daily. Trying to watch my girlish figure. Breakfast is good also. I prefer the hash browns much more crispy than they usually cook them but good none the less. ”
“ Breakfast at Country Cafe inside the Trex Mart at exit 20 on I-29. Arrived when it opened at 6 am, greeted warmly and promptly served. I was the only one eating there for the entirety of my visit. Classic rock playing in background, with a tv playing weather and news. Rustic, farm atmosphere. Many pictures and historical mural of the local Platte County Fair. Well done. Food was served hot and ready. It was good. Toast was great. Friendly service. ”
